The $100 computer is alive and well, but the US seems to keep attacking and/or overthrowing every country that wants to support it. I'm sure it is just a coincidence, but it sure is bad luck...by the time he finally manages to get the thing moving, a $100 computer will be a pitifully small amount of money for a computer.
