For those in a similar situation as mattkime, here's my thinking on this:

Basically, the premise ('leg') you'll be standing on is that you saw an item advertised at Dell for a specific price on December 13th (it would help if someone had a screen shot of this). You placed an order for this item and paid for it on December 13th (for which you have proof via the order confirmation email from Dell dated December 14th). Dell shipped you the item. You received the item December 18th. At this point your business transaction with Dell is over. After the fact, Dell comes back and charges your card (on December 26th) an additional amount, which you did not authorize. This is basically the argument you'll make to your credit card company.
