You have 90 days from the auction closing to leave feedback. Same with them. I would say to them if it shows up you intend to leave this feedback.........and if it doesn't, you will post........ Either way, you don't hold them responsible.
Or something vague but positive. Most experienced eBayers know that something likely went wrong, but as the buyer, you were satisfied with the action the seller took.
