I admit, I didn't read the manuals very carefully and right now the manual is in the room where my son is sleeping (and I don't want to wake him up). So I have a quick question:
I unpacked the printer the other day and I made sure it works, I used the USB connection to make sure I can print and I can scan.
Now I put it on the network (no more USB cable) and I can print just fine, and I can also scan FROM THE NOTEBOOK, but not from the Machine (it says Check the cable). I guess I have to set the machine somehow to send the file to the network, not to the USB port. How?
And another questions: once I install the scanner drivers on both laptops, if I want to scan from the machine, can I select to which laptop the file is going?
Again, I apologize for asking these simple questions, but it may take me a solid 2 hours till I get access to the manual.
