She was probably wondering where the godawful noise was coming from! Our power was out for a couple of days in December, and the new neighbor across the street apparently brought a generator with him from his last house. Gad, that thing made a horrible noise! I'm not sure I'd want power badly enough to have to listen to one running right outside my door. Can't they make quiet ones?
