When I was pregnant I really didn't have a preference, but after seeing how active the little boys weren when my daughter was little, I am glad that I had a daughter. I think each sex has its own unique set of problems and, while different, neither is inherently better or worse. I think I adapted better to rearing a daughter, but I would have done the best I could with a son.
Had we had a son, I think my husband would have had to pitch in more with all the sports related things. He helps out now, and always has, but I think he would have had a larger role if we had had had a son.
