The "good news" is that I finally reached the Product Replacement rep and he had received my G5 shipping info on Friday after all.
The "kind of good news" is that my Mac Pro is considered BTO (because the Product Specialist kindly added Airport Extreme, a wireless keyboard and Mighty Mouse and a USB modem to the basic system), so it has to come from Shanghai and will take 4-6 days.
At least I now have tracking info and I have my fingers crossed that the replacement will arrive by Friday.
