The Pretty In Pink soundtrack had some actual winners on it. Skip OMD's most shameful but best-selling moment and check out Suzanne Vega's "Left Of Center" (with Joe Jackson on the piano), New Order's "Shellshock" (sadly edited to about half of its original length), Echo & The Bunnymen, The Smiths, Psychedelic Furs, some band convering Nik Kershaw's "Wouldn't It Be Good" and doing a much better job at it than the original... That John Hughes had a way with soundtracks.
