If you believe in the 'mainstream' religions then you have to believe that Jesus died for the sins committed by man from the beginning of time until the end of time.
Babies commit no sins, so why shouldn't they go to heaven?
If God is all knowing, he already knows exactly what sins I'm going to be committing next week, but according to Catholicism I'm already forgiven, as long as I believe?
No I don't think I want to believe i such a vengeful, punishing God. Someone who only loves you when you do what he considers to be the 'right' thing.
I love my children unconditionally whatever they do, I don't always like or love the behaviour, but I always love the child.
I'm only 'human' but can do this for my kids, why can't God do this for his?
So where's the problem?
My God, this is all so confusing, it all sounds very sinister and 'cultish' to me.
I just want to know, did anyone ask God about this 'Limbo' thing?
