Two car questions, for a newbie

All but one of my cars i can do without jacking it up. Gotta love those midsized GMs with buick V-8s in the. Spin off the oil filter from the top, and it drops straight down into the drain pan, stick your arm way under the car and unscrew the drain plug, spin on a new filter, and about that time, oil is done draining. Refill the oil while you are putting stuff away. maybe 10 minutes unless I dribbled something on the ground.
