An OmniWeb user asks, is there a way in Firefox or Safari to...
#6
[quote Zoidberg]You mean the "control-option-command-8" thing? Not to sound flip, but that's ridiculous
The only thing ridiculous here is your attitude. You asked for a solution: you were provided one that a) works perfectly; b) works instantly; c) works on-the-fly on a case-by-case basis and d) is superior to the solution you already have.

I don't want to fark up the whole screen, just reverse the text on a single web site.

Why? What possible difference could it make for the perhaps-one-minute you'll be reading the site. It doesn't "fark" anything up: it works perfectly and undoes itself perfectly when you're done. Someone needs a NAP, imho.

(PS, still loving that Dr Who sig image.)

Buttering me up won't work. Okay, it will. Sorry if I sound snarly, but you didn't say you wanted a magic cure that was both different yet easier to what you already had. Someone gave you a solution that works. If it's not for you, no problem, but don't diss it. It works.
