PCMCIA eSATA adapter for OS X?

Don't know about PCMCIA, but I got this PCI-Express card (for my MacBook Pro) http://meritline.stores.yahoo.net/1x-e-s...scard.html from a link off "the other site," and it's despite the name of that site it's definitely NOT fully Mac- compatible (and to be fair, neither Meritline nor the manufacturer says it is). It works, but when you withdraw it from the slot (after properly powering it down from the menu) it crashes the computer...
