Need a new wireless router...any recommendations under $50?

My Netgear is growing more unreliable by the day...anybody with a recommendation for a new wireless -g or -n router under $50? Also, would an Airport Express offer me the same functionality, or do I have the technology understanding backward?

Oh and this is for my MacBook Core 2 Duo, early 2007...not sure if these can achieve 802.11n speeds...
