But the iPod was a $500 Mp3 player back then when Nomad and others were $100 or $250...
Actually, a Rio, maxed RAM and micro-drive was $465 that was still around 500MB or a little more.
While at dealmac many a forum expert said that this was a major mistake on Stevie's part, more here are saying why *they* won't be buying it, rather than it will tank and "Apple is DOOMED, I say!!"
I looked at the MBA today and I don't care for the look and feel of it. I was a little tempted as I like the Al finish, ala PowerBooks/MBPs, it just feels a little cheap. And I'm not ready to give up a replaceable battery in a computer.
And the number one reason I won't be buying an Air-- I just don't need to *carry* a 'Book around. Other things like the screen is too big play a part as well.
I am interested to see how well this does?
