I have an open invitation to St. Simons...should have left today, but things keep coming up.
I think I throw obstacles in my own way. My house isn't clean enough, I will have bills to pay while I am gone, etc. What if I get in an accident or sick and someone has to deal with my stuff? After all it is a 5 hour drive and anything could happen .....
You know, just stupid stuff. Maybe I just don't want to leave home, but I really do want to go visit my friends.
This syndrome seems to get worse with age, as I used to pick up and go on a moments notice. I get nervous and anxious, lose sleep over it, etc.
The car is gased up, oil is changed, I am doing laundry and paying bills. I have time to do damage control to the house and leave at my leisure in the morning.
