Is this a good deal for a Macbook Pro?

Did you hear that directly from Apple, or were you just told that by Best Buy? Unless it was directly from Apple, I would assume that there is no warranty at all. And also if there is evidence of physical damage like you mentioned, Apple might not honor a warranty either.
