1699 + TAX? LOL, I like the amazon price better, $25 cheaper, 150 rebate, and no TAX. Let's see:

Apple: 1699 + 7% tax= 1,818
Amazon: 1675 -150= 1,525

OK, that's almost 300 bucks (293 to be exact).
