[quote RAMd®d]I liked most food at Wendy's, especially the baked potatoes, with the sole exception being the burgers. The meat was completely lacking in flavor.

The fries are pretty good though.

I just ate at In-n-Out yesterday, and had the fries, something I don't usually do. And I won't be doing it again anytime soon.

But a DD and chocolate shake hit the spot just fine.
Wonder if you are used to the over-seasoned burgers from Wendy's competition? I find their burgers are just fine for flavor, almost as good as the ones I make myself. MacDonalds and Burger King tend to be heavy on the salt and pepper, can barely taste the meat there. Have to agree on the fries, when the person doing them is trained right they come out better than those from the other chains. And the stores that used to operate near me did not overdo the salt, so it was easy to adjust to my taste by sprinkling a little more on if I wanted to.

P.S. Son recently took a job at the local mickie-D's and has been on the grill mostly. Their grill seasoning, salt and pepper, come in bags that get dumped right into a shaker, does not do a good job of mixing the two a lot of the time. So often too much pepper or too much salt gets on the patties
