Not hubris, more like not letting Donald Trump go bankrupt if your going to go with him. China will do what is best for China and attempt to redirect itself, but is at this moment in time captive to the US financial situation.
China is not Japan. Japan needed the US more than the US ever needed Japan. China will find a way to not need us. |
