Unfortunately, thanks to the political machines, it is not desirable to have "too much education" among a chunk of the electorate.

I don't recall anyone ever playing up W's Harvard & Yale background or his privileged New England upbringing in a very powerful political family. No, that would be what we now refer to as "elitist".

W is just a good old country boy from Texas right?
