I think everyone is doing a commendable job of ignoring the kookbiscuit.
Graylock gives a good reminder for why responding may not be the best option-- you defeat the "ignore" for those not up to the kookiness.
Sometimes, though, there's unexpected comedic effect that makes it sort of bearable. Read this thread for example-- start at the beginning and read it down as if it were a book, without paying much attention to who the poster is. I had to laugh out loud when I started reading into "that one's" post.
