Better question - where is the current president ?
It's still his watch isn't it ?
He go back to Texas already ? Cheney in charge ?
If it was Reagan he would at least be on the tube with his eloquent talk.
The current president is heading for an overseas conference.
Does this preclude him from going on TV and keeping us informed and reassured ?
(his very weak radio address aside)
That is what the OP seems to think the president elect should be doing - the presidents job.
To the larger point - where has Bush been during this entire mess ?
Have the limited statements that he has made reassured you, and if so how & why ?
This country is in a crisis and it would be nice if he showed some leadership.
Heh, heh, you won't have W to kick around anymore! Back to topic, I was a day ahead of Jack Welch,
"Fear is going to take over. We have a new president and the faster we can get the policies out there and tell us where we're going to go and what this administration is going to do, the better off we're going to be," former GE chief Jack Welch told CNBC television.
Hey Jack, just go read Obama's blog.
