Ted,
You don't get it, whatever Bush does or has done is fine with Swampy. Swampy has nothing to hide.
When the Nazis came for the communists,
Swampy cheered the President;
Swampy was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
Swampy cheered the President;
Swampy was not a social democrat.
When they came for the immigrants,
Swampy cheered the President;
Swampy was not an immigrant.
When they came for the Jews,
Swampy wondered what would happen to her favorite bagels, but then she cheered the President;
Swampy was not a Jew and could still eat Wonder Bread.
When they came for Swampy, there was a huge gun battle, and Swampy lost.
and there was no one left to speak out.

People like Swampy always made me nervous. They let their leadership do whatever they want in the name of national security, but they blame the "government" for snooping.
Imagine if a single presidential term was 10 years, Bush would have had two more years to wreck the nation, and Swampy would still be cheering

Swampy is one of "they" because Swampy is not one of "us".

"I was on the corner of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue when I was photographed. Monday, in addition to Grand Central, I was in front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza for about 20 minutes when an NBC doorman and a policeman told me I had to leave because it was private property.
I asked if it wasn't open to the public because there were so many people there. They said it was open to the public, but if they wanted someone to leave, he had to leave. I left, but I never did understand why they wanted me to leave or who \"they\ were. wrote:
