Ohio IG - JTP's Records search improper

Well, I guess I can assume conversations with a friend of mine who travels extensively have been caught up in the web of the Patriot act. Still it doesn't bother me. Like I said I have nothing to hide and neither does my friend, Mike. But at least I know in advance that the Patriot Act may subject us to that. I've been forewarned. JTP was not.

Phone sex? So what? Unless the Feds joined in for a managé. That would be a little intrusive. LOL

So soldiers who are on their third and fourth tours of duty in Iraq that have taken them away from the wives and husbands so often that they have to keep their affectionate connection to their mates alive by intimate long-distance conversation were warned that those conversations would be intercepted and shared with others who would get big yucks out of it - so no abuse of government power there? In fact, you think using the intimate affairs of soldiers - who are making huge personal sacrifices - as a source of fun deserves no more than a "LOL"? And using government power to send an innocent political opponent to jail is worth no more than a shrug. But simply inappropriately accessing JTP's files and doing nothing with the information is somehow so despicable that it's worth bringing up again and again? Good grief, it's hard not to conclude that you have an almost unlimited ability to rationalize what you don't want to accept - just as some others have suggested.
