I would absolutely agree with Halperin's basic premise that media objectivity is at an all time low (although a valid argument could be made that it never really existed except as an abstract ideal).
And I would agree that there was media bias for Obama.
And for McCain. And against McCain. And against Obama. Etc. etc.

But was there some sort of widespread, concerted media bias towards Obama during the last election cycle? If there was, the portion of the article I quoted above addresses it better than I could.
