Bias in the Press - Mark Halperin of Time

Halperin's comment presupposes that what we have is "newsworthy" from the people he claims are journalists. With the slow death of many newspapers around the country, from the local town rag to the large, urban/national dailies, the art of journalism may already be showing signs of an early demise. If, after all, one cannot cut one's chops at the local and regional level, how can there be improvement?
