What if Obama was born in Hawaii, but then right-wing radio and television, coupled with predispositions against academia and critical thinking, led tons of gullible folks into repeatedly doubting this, going so far as to ask the same question over and over again, without paying any attention to the provided answers, and simply dismissing opinions and sources with disagreed with their counterintuitive assumptions?

Just a thought.
