of course its faked. Survivor is carefully edited, and Deadliest Catch is edited solely to make you believe it is far more dangerous and fast=paced than it currently is. The time constraints in the crabbing industry is currently self imposed. No longer is it a derby system, it is done by quota. They can be out for 2 months if they want......... not the 2 weeks they want you to believe.
