In the waning days of the Bush administration, each and every American owes it to their country to figure out just what is going on in the Global War on Terror. Douglas J. Feith, the former Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, has written a honest history absolutely without rancor and generalizations. This is not a tome praising each and every facet of Bush administration policy, but rather explaining the important people and ideas behind administration policy. This is not the typical Washington memoir, chock-a-block full of theory, hearsay, and conspiracy theories. This is a history book.

War and Decision

Having read the book, I can attest to its literary quality. His arguments are succinctly and clearly explained in 530 pages of fluent prose and 140 more pages of documentation, sourcing, and an index. This is a must-read for anyone desirous of separating the facts from the media spin about the Global War on Terror and the absolute necessity of its conception and continuation.

Ooh! An index! Book must be really truthy!

Bullshit. Feith is one of the neocons who helped devise the "strategy" behind the war on terror. How do you think the book is without bias or spin?
Here you go again. It is not war on terror, it is "war on terror". Jeeze. You folks are disappointing me.
