Does it bother you that Madoff is a pants wearer?

I know a guy who's from a very prominent wealthy family who wears . . . not quite sure what-- could be skirts, kilts . . . sometimes in layers. Military history buff, so I'd assume there's some sort of connection between kilts and battle regalia and who knows what . . . but not sure.
