If you had actually read my post, you will note that I said "There is an ideal route on the west side of town that borders a state park". BORDERS A STATE PARK.
The county bought the right of way years ago.
Nobody's been short sighted and it was Democrats that purchased the right of way with a by pass in mind. No conservative rational involved.
