I am using an EyeTV hybrid mostly happily on a powered external USB hub. I generally need to restart the software once or twice to get the dongle to wake up, and occasionally I need to unplug and replug it as well. Works beautifully when it works.
Similar deal with the software though--CW says avoid EyeTV 3 and stick with EyeTV 2. |
