I knew a guy who drove an early Toyota van(late 80s). An awful design with the engine under the driver's seat. At the time we owned a Voyager that never quit on us. That toyota van was an absolute dog in every aspect but the guy could not bring himself to admit it because he was a lifelong Toyota customer. In his mind, Toyotas could do no wrong.
