US Navy Duty Rotation Question

FWIW, missle sub crews are at sea for three months then on shore for three months (there are two crews as mentioned above).

They can take some of their 30 days/year of leave while on shore duty, but they aren't on leave for six months of the year. I would have requested a boomer (not Sharon Valerii, unfortunately) if that were the case!
