That's silly. The farm-raised fish are going to eat the same contaminate-filled fish no matter where they are raised.

The difference is the cost of providing the feed to the farm. In the wild, there is little if any carbon foot print in the process. The solution is to farm the feed fish as well, to minimize the eco cost. That would lessen the pressure in the oceans.
