If it's anything like the foam that my refurb arrived in, that's hard to picture, unless some UPS guys were playing soccer with that box. This is one thing I do have to give Dell credit for - the foam that mine arrived in cradled it pretty securely. Obviously, others haven't been so lucky. This might be because more recent orders are suffering poorer Quality Control, as the refurb assembly lines have been cranked into overdrive.
Not at all. I just got my second one and it was knocked cattywhumpus - one corner still in the foam; the remaining 3 either suspended in air or on the box bottom. I'm shipping my previous one to a friend in the same box, but I'm adding bubble wrap to fill all the air space.
So there is only one piece of foam under it, nothing on top?
