I have a Wallstreet dual-boot OS 10.2.8 and 9.2.2 that reads ZIP cartridges just fine from both an internal ZIP drive and an external SCSI ZIP drive. In fact it works for both ZIP 100 and ZIP 250 drives, in both OS 10 and 9.
My Pismo also reads ZIP carts on its internal ZIP drive under OS 10.4.11.
Both OS 10 installations are the end result of progressive upgrades, so I can't be sure which version of OS 10 put in whatever ZIP drivers are there. The OS 9 installation has a file named Iomega Driver in the Extensions folder.
