Thanks for that link, renderinrocks, but I'm not necessarily looking to extend the life of this thing. I just wanted it to work so I could sell it for a little more than I'd get for a dead machine. I really don't want to put any more $$ into it.

And JoeH, as soon as I started reading your reply, it came back to me. I remember having an older monitor that plugged into the back of one of my older towers. It did make it more convenient rather than taking up another outlet. It's just been so long, I had forgotten about that. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
