After actually watching the video, I don't see a crime. I see a lapse in judgement. More info is indeed necessary.
Is the kid throwing a tantrum? Is he complaining or protesting? Is he awake? Is Mom punishing him? Is she angry?
From the video, she could easily be telling the truth.
But doing something harmless that's bound be be misinterpreted by the self-righteous knee-jerkers is not a smart move.
Nobody approached her about her perceived misconduct. So there was concern, just not *that* much concern?
