Just got back from our monthly MUG meeting, so glad to see the puzzle was cracked. The thing about the eyes I mentioned is that Bowie has heterochromia, which is different colours.

actually I think this is another example of fine attention to detail by your daughter. Due to an old injury, one pupil is permanently dilated which gives the illusion of differing iris colors.
