Not a big Twinkies buyer, but I used to really like Little Debbe Oatmeal Cream Pies. I try to stay away from the snack aisle at the grocery store now. Smile

My favorite are the raisin creme pies (forget who makes 'em.)
But I also stay away from the snack aisle as well as the cereal aisle... never even go down them to get to somewhere else.

Yep, those raisin creme pies are also tasty, especially when they are fresh. I am now craving a snack cake. Sad

Twinkies go bad just like everything else.

And people should be buying Ding Dongs.

Somebody will sure pick up the products, if not the brand as well.

Just a temporary sugary snack food hiccup. Meh.

Stocking up? No... but I did buy one this morning.
Not as tasty as I remember... too sweet.

I think that would be true for many/most of us, if I am remembering correctly that our perception of taste changes as we age and that older humans have less appreciation of sweet substances.

Twinkies no - but thinking of hitting the Hostess thrift store and grabbing a last Chocolate Cupcake and Hostess Sno-Balls.

I am gonna miss Sno-Balls - it was especially cute at Easter, St Pats Day and Halloween when they changed the color to Pink, Green, and Orange respectively....

The Banana Nut Muffin will be missed too - used to like that with coffee on a snowy Winter day.

I would be so proud if any of you guys made an appearance on the tv show "Hoarders" due to a house full of Twinkies.

That reminds me - I still have a Twinkie from 1991 stashed away at work, along with a freeze-dried icecream sandwich from 1997...
