I think that would be true for many/most of us, if I am remembering correctly that our perception of taste changes as we age and that older humans have less appreciation of sweet substances.

That reminds me - I still have a Twinkie from 1991 stashed away at work, along with a freeze-dried icecream sandwich from 1997...
