Papercup that looks fantastic! Could you post the same pic with the keg fridge still there? I know it's not perfect for the spot but I'm limited in my choices. Wow, thanks for that picture!

I think the window needs to be bigger (i.e. it needs to come down to table height so you can see out when seated, and needs fewer sashes given the size of the space) and you need to install crown molding and perhaps white beadboard wainscotting/chair rail...of course, this depends on the style of the rest of the house.

Or, just a nice mirror if an actual window is too pricey to install.

The Window idea is nice- you can put in a false window if you don't want to cut a hole. My mother-in-law did that to her kitchen in 1962- the sink was against an inside wall. She put in a window with a landscape photo behind it and lighting to illuminate it. It really does give you the feeling of being able to reach out and touch the outside.
