iPhone 4s growing long in the tooth-how's my reasoning?

replace the battery, switch to cricket or straighttalk.

I am on AT&T Go Phone, which is unlimited talk/text/data with rollover data and an option to lower the resolution when streaming so it uses less data. I have the $45 a month plan, with autopay it's $40 a month. I would be throttled after 3 gigs* of data but since I never go over about 2, I don't care. They are quite clear about this, probably because Uncle Sam made them be so. I'm still using a 4s which I bought on eBay for $100 to replace the other 4s. I'd replace the battery if I were you, Grumpyguy, just be aware that Apple will totally disown the phone once a third party has cracked it open. But with a phone that old I think it's a moot point.

EDIT: I just checked and their web site says throttled after 4 gigs, so I guess I missed a text message from them at some point.

I'd also consider the resale value, which for a 6 plus is considerably more than the SE, I would guess.
