Who is going to watch the royal wedding? Who cares?

Will probably watch the ceremony. Not likely to watch much of the lead-up.

Kind of nice to have a happy event uniting the Western world even for just a moment before Trump does something mean and stupid to spoil the day.
Roomie wants to watch, but I t looks like it will start about 3:00am PT, so it’s doubtful we’ll watch much more than a highlights replay. I’m a hardcore people watcher and have a pretty hefty interest in traditions/ceremony, so I’m down with watching.

Actually, if I’m not working Saturday, I’d be into firing up a pizza, breaking out some guacamole and chips and watching the thing live.

'Guacamole and Chips' being a traditional British dish.

Nice to see a positive thought about something that doesn't hurt us.

It's not my cup of tea, so I doubt I'll see it.

My mom will watch.. she has already been interested in the royal family. She recalls Edwards coronation (and subsequent abdication), King George, Elizabeth getting married and later coronation. I'm sure she watched Diane and Charles. So this will be a natural for her

Me? I'll only glance up if she asks me too; otherwise I'll ignore it.

She must not be watching The Crown: Edward VIII never had the coronation that she recalls.

Well it doesn't interest me enough to watch it and my politics would be against the royal family however I know that it gives a lot of people a lot of pleasure so mark me down as accepting the situation. My better half will almost certainly be watching a fair amount.

I used to love getting together with a couple of friends in the 80s/90s - one a Londoner who HATES the royals and everything about them and a Scot who is a lover of everything royal. That were fun times!

Guess I need to be sure that The Happy Pair and The New Princess Royal are on my English country dance program tomorrow!
