Merriam-Webster and others have the definition of 'scourge'. I would have thought /sarc tags unnecessary but apparently not. Context is everything. Or at least worth of consideration.

I wonder if for $100K GM would be willing to design door hinges that do not require pin and bushing replacement every few years.
