As an owner of the M1 Mini, I can confidently say this is the best computer for the cheapest price in Apple history. It's so stunningly fast.
I also think it really hurt the giant Mac Pro tower sales.

My Mac sent me a message last night. A hint, if you will.
While using Photos to work on some RAW files, after about 30 minutes a box came up and said I'm out of RAM, and would I like to shut down some apps? I shut down everything but Photos and didn't have any issues. I've never seen such a message before, but with Big Sur I think Apple finally realized that thrashing a swap file if low on memory isn't a great idea, even with an SSD present.
