That appears to be one observation - you can only derive so much info from a single observation. Maybe a freak bit of sputum just happened to fly the distance and land in the victim's eye.
W.H.O. you gonna call?!....Friday, the W.H.O. urged even vaccinated people to continue wearing masks due to Delta varian

I assumed it was hyperbolic but still, it's apparent that Delta is more easily transmissible than even the other (already more transmissible) variants.
Much of the explosion of cases in March-April in Michigan was credited to the UK variant.

LA County Health Dept today changed their stance, they now recommend everyone (vaccinated or not) return to wearing masks at ALL times indoors.

"With the highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus continuing to spread statewide, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is recommending that all residents wear masks in public indoor spaces — regardless of whether they’ve been vaccinated for COVID-19. Monday’s announcement is one of the clearest signals yet of just how seriously health officials are taking the strain, and the danger it poses, particularly to those who have yet to be inoculated. Officials have said the available vaccines appear to offer strong protection. But there’s significant concern that those who have yet to receive all their required shots, or any doses at all, remain vulnerable to the Delta variant — which may be twice as transmissible as the conventional coronavirus strains." https://www.latimes.com/california/story...sk-indoors

Thanks for the correction. My site editor is still out collecting pandemic unemployment and refuses to come back to work for what I'm offering.
