Apple Smashes Earnings... Again!
#11
iPad has always been meh. As phones get larger, think peeps may use them mode.

My youngest was addicted to her pad, but only had a iPhone 5... when we upped her to a 12, she stopped using her pad and uses the phone pretty much all the time now.

Unusual that AAPL goes up after a great report. Perhaps it’s due to weakness in the rest of the sector.

Tesla had similar blowout earnings...yet they tanked about 25% since 1/3/22, 10% today alone.

Yeah, I didn't have any money riding on earnings today, but before I looked I said to myself, "Apple beats, down after hours".

It's actually up 1% AH as I type this, but it'll prolly be down tomorrow.

:dunno:
Up 6.85% as of this post time.

Considering the downward trend it's been on for the last few weeks, I kinda thought this news would give it a boost.

iPad sales may have been lower than expected due to supply chain issues. Many models seemed to be unavailable the last few months.

I have to say that when I upsized my iPhone, my Kindle usage went down.

Thanks to our general portfolio performance over the last couple of years, I’m actually planning on getting a couple of iPads for around the house and traveling. Admittedly probably a luxury usage case and not typical.
