IMO there will be incidents but America will say GOOD RIDDANCE no one is above the law and settle down.


There will be isolated violence and a few innocent people will die or be injured, but no civil war or widespread mayhem.

There will be threats, maybe a few actual bombings.

When law enforcement reacts, it'll reduce a lot of the motivation to do anything more than shake red hats a the sky.

The right wing extremist threats and promises of violence are almost exclusively sabre-rattling, but there will be exceptions.

Eventually, it will simmer down to 'not my president' type remarks.

The real worry comes if/when the MAGAs get control of the House and Senate.

The fighting in the streets would pale compared to damage done by the new order.


It's important that the worst offenders in the January 6 attack (now coming up for trial) be shown to be what they are, get convicted of the really serious crimes they engaged in, and get serious federal time. This, right now, would be the important lesson this country can teach to all those who want to play fantasy mind games about the new civil war.
