Cybertrucks, in Fremont?

Well, if you park that bad boy in a sketchy area, ain't nobody easily breaking out the windows to grab and go with your stuff. That's it's number one feature.

It looks like I tipped my new LG stainless steel refrigerator on it's side an added some wheels...

Also...Elon.

Hard pass!

The Cybertruck is so f'ing fugly that it makes the Pontiac Aztek look like a handsome car. Musk probably drew it up after coming down off a drug bender.

No, it's not exactly a "looker" either, but I'll take a blue jellybean over a stainless steel brick, and the external storage drawers plus fold-down upper bed sides increase it's usefulness as a truck.

Rivian trucks have power-outlets and an air compressor in the bed, an enormous storage compartment under the bed with optional cooler, a frunk with an extra storage compartment in the floor, storage compartments under each front and rear-seat, and a skinny "Gear Tunnel" side storage compartment big enough to hold a pair of skis or a tent, or the optional full camp-kitchen (and has more power outlets down there) with compartments in the doors of the side-tunnel holding a first aid kit and accessories for the air pump. There's a massive center console compartment, slots and compartments below each armrest, huge pockets in each door (flashlight hidden in a slot in the driver's door), and slots strategically located to place/charge phones.

Tesla hasn't disclosed much about storage yet. A frunk of undisclosed size. Tiny slots in the rear-pillars. A compartment in the frunk that might be big enough to hold a very small toolbox and/or a folded tarp.

I guess they're not trying to compete on that kind of utility.

Ugly. Doesn’t look easy or inexpensive to fix after collision

Crash damage might actually improve the look of the CT.

A battery fire would do even better

Sorry, NOTHING makes the Asstek look "handsome".

Ha! I started writing something similar - that it was almost as ugly as an Aztek or a Citroen but decided against it. Pretty sure there are no Aztek lovers on the forum but I'll have to duck now after the Citroen comment.

I saw my first Rivian in the wild yesterday while riding with my son in our Volt. Here in flyover land it’s unusual to see such a rare beast.
